An oscillating bubble will be generated when a high pressure airgun is triggered. A pressure wave will be released during the oscillation of the bubble which is used widely in the seabed exploration, due to its advantage in lower cost, high stability and friendly to environment and so on. When the airgun is initially triggered, the highly compressed air will emit from the airgun openning. When the bubble collapse, the bubble will interact with the airgun body. The pressure wave and bubble pulsating process is a concerned problem in the study of the airgun bubble. To study the pressure wave and the bubble motion, we built a 2mx2mx2.5m water tank and design an airgun with one opening at its end. The bubble's motion is captured by high speed camera and the pressure in the fluid field is also recorded by data acquisition system. The numerical simulations are also conducted using the openFOAM software and the numerical results coincide well with the experimental ones. We also tests the bubble motion under different water depth and initial inner pressure.
