Crack propagation path prediction is very important problem in material science. Although finite element method (FEM) is widely used to predict the crack propagation path, it is difficult to predict the crack propagation path in complicated material microstructure by the FEM. Phase-field method is thought to be promising approach to simulate crack propagation. In this study, a multi-phase-field crack model is developed and crack propagation simulations are performed in polycrystalline structure and in material microstructure with inclusions.
