A lattice defect model of kink deformation in magnesium alloywith LPSO structure is proposed from the point of view of anequivalence of wedge disclinations dipole and edge dislocationarray. Then, an interaction between isolated dislocation (withdifferent positions) and kink boundary (with different models) isstudied. The results show that, based on disclinations model thecoarse-graining is effective when consider the statisticalaverage situation, and the model that explicitly deals with locallattice defect structure can effectively discuss elementaryprocess of microscopic phenomenon. We also give the results of the configurational force on variouskind of lattice defect. It is well-known that the Peach-Koehlerforce on dislocation, which is a typical configurational force,is closely related with the strength of the material. Theconfigurational force on disclination is formulated. We discussthe possibility to do multiscale analysis which is related to theestimation of the strength of LPSO structure.
